Dave Svec – Founder & President
Before launching FusionPoint Security, Dave led and managed the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Einstein 3 Accelerated team at Verizon and was Executive Vice President and Executive Board Member at Coalfire Systems. Prior to its acquisition by Coalfire in December 2016, he served as the co-founder of Veris Group, a 220-employee cybersecurity services firm established in 2005. He also spent several years as a cybersecurity subject matter expert with Booz Allen Hamilton, served in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and worked in the National Security Division.
Dave has more than 25 years of proven cybersecurity, program management, and leadership experience. He holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Public and International Affairs/International Security (MPIA) from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science from Towson University.
