Dave Svec – Founder & President
Before launching FusionPoint Security, Dave led and managed the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Einstein 3 Accelerated team at Verizon and was Executive Vice President and Executive Board Member at Coalfire Systems. Prior to its acquisition by Coalfire in December 2016, he served as the co-founder of Veris Group, a 220-employee cybersecurity services firm established in 2005. He also spent several years as a cybersecurity subject matter expert with Booz Allen Hamilton, served in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and worked in the National Security Division.
Dave has more than 30 years of proven cybersecurity, program management, and leadership experience. He holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Public and International Affairs/International Security (MPIA) from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science from Towson University.
Douglas Greise – Managing Principal
Doug joined FusionPoint to help address the needs of federal contractors and provide a better solution to the federal market. He has worked at the intersection of public & private sectors for over 30 years and has considerable experience as both a technology and cybersecurity expert, as well as a business and strategic advisor. Prior to FusionPoint, Doug served as a strategic advisor and business consultant to federal contractors, CSPs, and MSPs where he helped build value and a long-term growth strategy.
Additionally, he has worked with the Florida SBDC and PTAC/APEX programs in the greater Tampa Bay area. Doug is a former Coalfire Executive and co-founder of Veris Group, LLC, which was acquired by Coalfire. He is an expert in federal cloud, defense, & civilian sectors and has served on panels, initiatives, and advisory boards. He holds a Masters of Science, Cybersecurity, Risk & Strategy from New York University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science & telecommunications from University of Maryland, College Park.
